Power to recall persons in the UK with limited leave for interviews

As part of its package of measures to tighten up abuse of the immigration system, the UK Home Office has introduced the power to recall persons in the UK with limited leave for interviews.

UK Home Office caseworkers now have powers to require persons in the UK with limited leave to remain, to provide evidence to show that they continue to satisfy the UK immigration rules. They may also be required to attend an interview. If a person fails to provide such evidence or to attend an interview, it could lead to the curtailment of their visa.

BIC urges clients to ensure that they adhere to all the restrictions of their UK visas. In cases of doubt, rather be safe and contact your BIC consultant for advice.
